Bioscape Tropic Z-Carb Packs are conveniently designed to fit almost any filtration application, including canister filters, power filters, trickle filters, and other chemical filter applications.

Z-Carb is a combination of activated carbon and zeolite which is used to control toxins, odours and discolouration of the water due to medications or tannins. With the addition of zeolite it also helps to reduce aquarium ammonia levels. Increases water quality and improves fish health by reducing the amount of common aquarium pollutants. 

Aids in controlling ammonia levels due to decaying organic matter, overfeeding and overcrowding.

Directions: For best results begin using if you have bad smells/odours, tannins or medication discolouration in the water column. Also useful when ammonia levels start to rise (after initial cyclying of the aquarium) above acceptable levels.

Change Z-Carb packs every 30 days, dependant on fish load. Using an ammonia test kit monitor the ammonia levels in the aquarium is recommended.
